As the summer is coming to an end – school season is slowly starting. Wanting to provide kids with the best, parents certainly have to worry about a lot. Sometimes it all can be way too overwhelming not only for the little ones but for parents as well.

When it comes to school lunch and snacks, parents always try to supply their kids with the healthiest options. But sometimes all the planning and prepping can be a little too much and too time-consuming. That’s where we come to help with our pick of 9 healthy school lunch snack ideas

1. Fresh Veggies

Yes, as simple as that. Fresh veggies like carrots, broccoli, zucchini and cherry tomatoes are not only easy to prepare but will give your kids some extra vitamins during the day. Growing kids need to consume different veggies and fruits every day and giving them vibant veggies as a snack is the perfect opportunity.

2. Fruits And Berries

Just like veggies, fruits and berries also have a lot of vitamins and minerals. Fruits and berries are a lot sweeter than veggies and are perfect for kids with a sweet tooth. It’s a simple snack but will fill the little tummy up until the next meal.

3. Whole-Grain Sandwiches

School hours are long and when it comes to lunch kids not only need vitamins and minerals but something that fills them up and keep satisfied as well. Small whole-grain sandwiches are perfect for picky eaters because you can fill them up with anything your kids like – hummus, avocado, cheese, tofu, veggies or salad. Sandwiches are a perfect snack for protein and fiber.
